It's somewhat ironic, huh? How a person look forward to the last day of school as soon as she sets foot into her first class of the year? And then when the final minute of the last class rolls around, that same person starts bawling and sniffling, clinging onto her friends and hiccuping about how she doesn't want school to end?

And it truly depresses me. School's out. Officially. I went to a pool party for orchestra today and it was wonderful. Given, i DID cannon ball into the pool in my shirt and jeans--giving into peer pressure--but aside from that, it was lovely. It was...the final gather of the group before they crumbled off and did what they had planned.

Look at me, rambling like one of those stuffy seniors who are so full of themselves that you just want to whack them upside their head and tell them to deflate their big head already. But for the first time in a long time, i have had actual friends that i can depend on. and it strikes me as strange that we're going off to Paris or Florida or college before our senior year. And that's all i've been thinking about for the past week--while listening to cheesy music, of course. And it scares me. Especially how everything can change over a course of a month.

I'm sure i've thoroughly confused the two people who will be reading this. So i'm going to bow out with dignity and bid you a goodnight.

I need chocolate.
